Task description
This is group assessment (presentation) designed to apply your understanding of the project specification/scoping document that related to your project. To develop your presentation in professional way, you will be referring to the materials provided in the Study-Desk and the materials that you presented in Assessment 1.
As we explained before project specification/scoping document is very important document and it serves as the cornerstone of successful project management, playing a pivotal role in guiding project development and ensuring its ultimate success. This document provides a detailed and structured outline of the project's goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables.
A project specification/scoping document is a fundamental tool for effective project management. It sets the stage for success by providing a structured plan, ensuring clarity, managing expectations, and allowing for proactive decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Preparing a presentation about the details that you presented in the project specification/scoping document (Assessment 1) is crucial for several reasons, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and understanding among stakeholders. Flexible Slide Count:
There are no strict limitations on the number of slides. Aim for a comprehensive presentation that effectively communicates the depth of your work. Tailor the slide count to suit the richness of your analysis.
Presentation Structure and Guiding Principles:
Content Principles:
Ensure each slide features a clear headline and slide number for easy navigation.
Articulate a singular idea per slide, allowing for a focused and coherent presentation.
If an idea requires more elaboration, distribute it logically across multiple slides.
Design Principles:
Prioritise simplicity in design to enhance audience comprehension.
Maintain organisational clarity, creating a structured and easily navigable presentation.
Establish a visual path for the viewer's eye to follow, guiding them through the key points.
Employ an interesting division of space to sustain audience engagement.
If utilising colour and graphics, do so judiciously to augment visual appeal without overwhelming the content.
Your team must submit a recorded audio/visual presentation of your project that is between 10 to 15 minutes long. Each team member should speak for about the same length of time.
You may use one of the following methods to record your presentation:
• A PowerPoint presentation with embedded audio.
• Zoom meeting with a PowerPoint shared screen.
• MS Teams meeting with a shared PowerPoint screen.
