Choosing doctors based on not only their academic achievements but also their ability to empathize with patients and work in a team is fantastic. Empathy is an integral part of creating a positive experience for the patient, and surveys of the patient's experience are a terrific way to gauge the quality of the healthcare facility. Telehealth is also something that he talked about wanting to happen by 2024 that is a reality today. Telehealth is a fantastic leap forward in healthcare due to the ease of access to a doctor for a visit and the ability to obtain prescriptions. Using google glasses to record a patient's experience in a hospital is a clever idea, but I do not believe it would be an accurate representation due to how obvious it is that the patient is wearing the glasses. I feel that some of his predictions are realistic for the timeline whereas some will not come to fruition for a few more years.
