Task: Identify and support the emotional intelligence of others in the workplace (One thousand words).

Analyse three characteristics of your workplace, or a workplace you are familiar with, that may trigger an emotional response. Document how these triggers impact the workplace.

Develop a plan to encourage self-management of emotions of the team when these triggers occur.

Recommend two ways a manager can encourage others to develop their own emotional intelligence.

Using your knowledge of emotional intelligence, argue benefits to the team and organisational outcomes of a positive, inclusive emotional climate.

As a leader, you should set an example to your workgroup by modelling the required behaviour. Substantiate two ways that you lead by example.
