After discussing the Columbia case in the Live Session last week, you will now analyze it in a case analysis to assess your learning on the elements of leadership, including how to gain support and influence, emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and team dynamics. You should refer to this guidelines document (PDF) when writing your analysis, and include references to course concepts and readings. Consider the leadership style, the style and tactics used for influence, team dynamics, and decision-making in the case. Diagnose what you see as the primary problem in the case, offer potential solutions, and then make a final recommendation, including implementation steps. Students will be graded on their application of course concepts, their originality, and their persuasive and evidence-based writing ability.
