Mr. Davis came to the emergency department with vague respiratory complaints. The ED nurses' assessment revealed that Mr. Davis was tachypneic with a respiratory rate of 26 and SPO2 of 86% on room air. Mr. Davis was place on 100% non-rebreather and admitted to the ICU for further treatment. A CT of Mr. Davis' chest should a 12Ccm mass on his right middle lung lobe and he is scheduled for a lobectomy with biopsy to determine what type of lung cancer he has.
