Question

A 28 year old female client is admitted to the emergency department with burns after a grease fire. She was cooking in the kitchen and a grease fire started. She used oven mitts to put the fire out, but suffered burns to her bilateral upper extremities. She has deep partial-thickness burns to the anterior surface of both her arms, superficial-partial thickness burns to her posterior left arm, and superficial burns to her posterior right arm. The burn occurred 1 hour ago. She has a history of anxiety and depression for which she take medication.
