Question

Draw a cell and represent the cell's following characteristics. The cell has a receptor-enzyme that, when stimulated by ligand 1, initiates a transduction pathway. The transduction pathway has a sequence of three second messengers, the last of which enters the nucleus of the cell and activates a gene. The activated gene encodes for a protein that gets bound in a vesicle. The same receptor-enzyme is also involved in another transduction pathway. This pathway has a single second messenger that binds to the vesicle and stimulates the enveloped protein to become embedded in the plasma membrane. The protein then acts as a channel that allows glucose to enter the cell, when ligand 2 binds to it.
