Second Normal Form (2NF) Let's take our 1NF circus tables to Second Normal Form (2NF) by eliminating partial dependencies.

A partial dependency is a fancy word for data that doesn't depend on the primary key of the table to uniquely identify it. For example, the trick name appears in every animal record, but the trick_nbr should be sufficient since we've already got the name in the Tricks table.

TODO: LIST THE THREE TABLES AND LIST THE COLUMNS OF EACH TABLE IN 2NF

Circus_lnfo Table, Unnormalized

1. animal_nbr (the Primary key)

2. animal_name

3. tent_nbr

4. tent_name

5. tent_location

6. trick_nbr1

7. trick_name1

8. trick_learned_at1

9. trick_skill_level1

10. trick_nbr2 ... (and on through 16)

11. trick_name2 ... (and on through 16)

12. trick_learned_at2 ... (and on through 16)

13. trick_skill_level2 ... (and on through 16)
