Since they exchange the files among themselves for no money are they protected from being subject to copyright laws? Explain
One of them often buys music on a CD and then after downloading a copy on her hard drive, she gives the CD to one of her friends? Does this violate copyright law? Explain.

4. Paul is the owner of an apartment house in a district in which the boys constantly annoy the janitor and interfere with his work. Paul discharges one janitor who had punished a neighbor's boy for such interference and directs Alex, the new janitor, to leave boys alone. Alex does not touch the boys but puts broken glass at the place on the wall where boys customarily climb, in order to exclude them.
If a boy is injured on the glass while climbing without permission to be there, will Paul be liable for the janitor's actions under the theory of respondeat superior? What elements of the scope of employment are met? Explain your answer.
