Short paragraph answer: Understanding that Canada's legal system incorporates a number of elements of the Civil Law and Common Law traditions into a hybrid legal system, does this hybrid system constitute a tradition in and of itself? Or is it two separate traditions cohabitating in the same jurisdiction? Give an example of one element of each tradition found in the other in Canada and use the textbook's definition of "Tradition" to take a position.
