Problem:

Decide on a business merger between two real companies, either existing today or historical. 

A Business Plan will be created supporting the merger of the two companies. 

The business plan must include: 

  • The 6 elements of a business plan.
  • A Vision and Mission statement for the newly formed company.
  • SWOT analysis - of the merged company
  • STEEPLE analysis - of the merged company
  • Stakeholders Analysis - who are the top 5 stakeholders in this merged company, and how will they feel about it?
  • Economies of Scale - An explanation of how the merger will bring about economies of scale. If, initially, there will be diseconomies of scale, why is it worth getting through that period?
  • PLUS, one consultant should always be paid to fight against the merger. So, defend one reason why the merger should not go through.
