Question

A BCBA has recently been hired as a full-time faculty member in a public school. The BCBA's primary experience has been in working with elementary aged children with a diagnosis of autism. After being hired, the BCBA learns that they will be responsible for consulting in 2 classrooms for students with emotional behavior disorders. The BCBA knows this is out of their scope of competence but doesn't want to jeopardize their job and feels they can apply what they know to this population.
