Current event topic

As your the Facilitator, you will select and lead the topic discussion for the week. As Facilitator this week, you will find your own example of a news event or recent development that relates to the Unit topic - the "Improve" element of the DMAIC framework.

Include the following details in your response:

• A summary of the topic, event or update
• Explanation of the events' relationship to the digital marketing topic - demonstrate your understanding of the marketing topic and your ability to apply it to the current event you've chosen
• Your personal opinion and analysis of the topic
• Three (3) relevant questions about your topic you would like to ask the students in your group.
• Be sure to provide your references

Facilitator Requirements:

As the facilitator, you are responsible for initiating the discussion with a topic-related current event*. In three paragraphs (or less) you'll summarize the current status of your topic and provide three questions you believe the contributors should discuss. As class members respond to questions, the facilitator extends the discussion by posing new questions on issues that arise out of the discussion. Additionally, the facilitator may refer back to readings, clarify, or offer additional insight in order to initiate discussion on another aspect of the topic. Facilitators are responsible for selecting discussion topics based on the given topic, briefly summarizing during the discussion, initiating new topics, and keeping an active and involved discussion going throughout the specified online discussion dates.
