The Human Resource (HRl department of Macvilte is responsible for the management of personnel. Two key functions of the department are induction of new staff, and ongoing communication with existing staff, regarding company policies, procedures and expectations. Cunently, the department manages a small number of policy documents which are periodically created as required. They are often poorly formatted. The HR department has a shared netwo* drive for storage of documents. However, files are often not named and are difficult to retrieve forfuture use.

As MacVille grows, so willthe level of documentation reguired, so it is important that a slrstem be implemented to streamline this process. As a new member of the team, you have been asked by the HR manager to devise and develop a system to ensure that pollcy and procedirre documents are created according to standard guidelines.

You have been asked to produce templates that are easy to use and do not take up much storage space as MacVille does not have huge lT storage capabilities.

Part One:

You are to create a policy and procedure template that can be used for the development of all new policies and procedures. The template should include explanations of what type of information should be included in each section.

You must present an electronic draft of your template to the HR manager {trainer/assessor} for approval.

Part Two:

Using the appmved policy and procedure template you developed in part one, cteate the following three policy and procedures:

1. Expenses policyand procedure
2. OccupationalHealth and Safety policy and procedure.
3. Professional Development policy and procedure
