Electrical Vehicles in Relation to Electrical Load Forecasting
The Dissertations should cover these 3 parts.
- Proposal
- Literature Review
- Report
The aim of this project is to investigate the effects of electrical consumption from the rise in usage of electrical vehicles. It should be assumed there will be an overall increase of electric consumption throughout time due to increase of electric vehicles on road. An additional aim of this project is to analyse a short- and long-term electrical load forecast using MATLAB in order to assess the gradual/rapid change in power output against time.
Objectives of project:
1. Study the pros and cons of electric vehicles
2. Assess the impact of electric vehicles on electric consumption
3. Research change of electric capacity required by companies to facilitate electric vehicles
4. Conduct electric load forecast using MATLAB to analyse for electric capacity change in UK
5. Comment on findings from research and experimental procedure and state most feasible approach for real life application.
You can talk also about neural networking and all the relating information to London's ultra-low emission zone.

Introduction
Introduce the subject of your project and describe your aims and objectives.
You should explain the significance and relevance of what you are trying to prove, how you are going to prove it and what methods you will use in the process.
Literature review
What are the main reasons for including this chapter?
• To present and to analyse, in a critical manner, existing literature and providing context for your research. Remember critical does not mean looking at the negatives but forming an evaluation.
• To show that you are able to identify gaps in the coverage of
the topic; thus justifying the reason(s) for your research.
• To show that you know what the important issues are that need to be investigated.
• To enable readers to be able to see whether or not your findings are congruent with the accepted research which has gone before
Conclusion
Summarise the main findings of the research
Claim the main contributions of the research and stress the meaningfulness of your work
• Did the research project meet its aims (check back to introduction for stated aims)?
• What are the main findings of the research?
• Are there any recommendations?
• Where should further research be focused?
