An elderly woman has oil delivered to her house every year in the late fall. Although initially she called to request oil, for many years the company simply delivered the oil in the fall without it having been requested and the woman paid for it. Last year the woman moved into her daughter's home. Her house is now empty. In the fall, as has been the practice, the oil company delivered the oil. When they did not receive payment they contacted the woman at her daughter's home. The woman and daughter informed the company that the woman did not request the oil, does not need the oil and therefore, would not pay for the oil. Should the oil company be able to collect payment for the oil?
