Critically reflect on TWO separate events/incidents that happened while caring for an elderly patient or a patient with a long-term condition. These experiences may include patients from your recent clinical placement, employment, or your own family. You should choose one event/incident for each reflection, for example, a fall, pressure injury, cognitive issue, medication error, or any other event/incident. Each reflection should demonstrate" A brief description of the events/incidents An analysis of how your thinking/assumptions were challenged by the experience What insights/deeper understanding did you gain from the experience How you will apply this new understanding in your future professional practice to avoid similar events/incidents A discussion of the leadership responsibility of a nurse in promoting healthy aging and/or providing care for a patient with a long-term condition.
