Ten specimens of raw material treated with new chemicals have shown the modulus of elasticity in kg/cm as follows:

30.0 ,32.0 ,33.5, 31.5, 34.5, 32.5 ,32.3 ,33.3, 31.6, 32.7

Before treating with chemicals, the variance of the modulus of elasticity has been equal to 2.5.it is believed that the new chemicals have produced more elasticity material and the standard deviation has increased. Test whether it is so or not?
