Take any business, other than a multinational company, assume that it has become successful recently, and is planning to enhance production and sales. Name the business, its location and products. Imagine that this business currently has one factory and two sales offices. By January 2023, the business wants to double its capacity by erecting another factory and opening three additional sales offices.
1. Elaborate the current corporate goals of the business, and project these goals for 2023 after the expansion.
2. The existing 2022 organization structure will become obsolete. Draw the existing organization structure and also draw a new structure for the expansion in 2023 which will have the following five business functions: Operations, Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR and Customer Service.
3. Write the steps that HR should take in doing Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Selection, and Training and Development. Critique and apply the concepts and processes studied in the course to this business, explaining the steps.
4. What measures should be taken to ensure the Health & Safety of employees in the business after expansion.
