Assignment - Work from Home Policy

Overview:

Build out sections outlined in the last unit for "Work from Home" policy.

Instructions:

• Unit 6 Assignment Instructions: In this group project you need to continue to work with you team, created during Unit 4 of this course. Your team embers outlined various sections/place holders during last unit's assignment. Now, it's time to add the actual substance under each of those sections. Elaborate each section with actual policy content and requirements. You should have atleast 5 different sections in your policy.

• Group Project: The management team at ABC Inc., is all set to launch their "work from home" program for their 300 employees. Your team members, created during Unit 4 of this course, has received a consulting assignment to help ABC Inc., draft "work from home" policy. This policy should include every component that can help clarify job roles, hours, expectations, liability, and many more areas. In this assignment, your team members need to (a) work together,
(b) provide an outline (Table of Contents), and (c) brief overview of what each section will contain. Your team members will continue to work on this assignment until the end of the course. Each unit's assignment section will provide you with additional instructions as you move along. Please note that the final policy document will be due by the end of Unit 7. Final presentation based on your final policy will be due in Unit 8. Use resources on the Internet and within Post Library to find sample work outlining work from home policies, review at least five (5) documents, select at least seven (7) sections (i.e. work hours, responsibilities, liability, etc.,), make necessary changes, and create a table of contents for ABC Inc.
• How to Collaborate: Collaborate using the tools your team agreed upon during Unit 4. You are welcome to use any document sharing (i.e. Google Drive,

Dropbox, OneDrive etc.,) or collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Meet etc.,) that works for everyone in your team.

Requirements:

• The outline you and your team will create will be used in your final project and therefore focus on quality and quantity.
• Outline should be in Word document using an APA format
• First page of the deliverable should be an APA-formatted cover page. Remaining pages should contain the section headings (i.e. work hours, responsibilities, liability, etc.,) and brief introduction about what each section is going to contain.
• Only one person from each team needs to submit this outline before the end of the unit.
• Everyone in the group will receive the same grades.
• Be sure to perform your research, paraphrase your findings, and cite your sources at the end, including the five (5) documents you researched.
