Several years ago, FAO embarked on an effort to decentralize its operations with many activities moving from its Headquarters in Rome to the Organization’s more than 100 Decentralized Offices around the world. To support this effort, FAO also rolled out its ERP system, Oracle, to these offices over a period of 9 months.
