Write up a critique of that article that meets the following qualifications
1. Begins with a few sentences summarizing the article overall (think of this like an abstract for the article
2. Main boy discusses each of the following:
- How well the research questions and hypotheses logically follow based on the literature review included in the study?
- Does the author give enough information about the sample of participants- if not what more information would you want to know about the participants that you think would be relevant to the study?
- Do the measures and materials they use measure what they intend to measure (for example- do you think the RPE accurately measures perceived exhaustion, etc.)?
- Were the claims in the discussion section justified based on the study and the results? Another way to think of this- did they over interpret their results or make claims that can't be justified given the study they conducted or the results they found?
- To what degree do the authors discuss limitations of the study? To what degree do you think the limitations they brought up were valid? Can you think of any other limitations they did not address?
3. Final paragraph offers an evaluation of the study as a whole to summarize the key points from the main body of the paper. In other words- if you had to provide an overall review of the article what would you say about it and why?
