Research Topic: Effectiveness of Remote Working by small businesses during COVID 19 Pandemic

Research Problem: With the COVID-19 tearing every sector of the economy, many small businesses have resorted to remote working where employees work from home. Remote working has comes with a fair share of advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, COVID-19 pandemic will be battled down at some point. This leaves us with the question of whether working from home is effective and should continue post COVID-19 or small businesses should resort back to work from the office. Understanding the effectiveness of working from home, the highs and lows is therefore, very important in determining whether small businesses should consider this new work style.

Research Question: Should small businesses consider embracing remote working both during COVID-19 pandemic and after?

In terms of effectiveness, in what way is remote working effective for small businesses during the pandemic?
