A study is being done on the effectiveness of airbags at saving passengers' lives in car accidents. 11,380 passengers in the study were in a car crash with an airbag. 39 of those passengers were fatally injured. 9743 passengers were in car crashes without airbags. 50 were fatally injured. At the .01 significance level, are airbags successful at saving lives?
