For this discussion, make a performance appraisal template that would benefit the organization for which you currently work or have previously worked.

Part 1

Make a performance appraisal template that meets the needs of your current or previous position (Application Analyst)

Include in your appraisal a rating scale and five competencies you would recommend the organization to evaluate staff on. At a minimum, include a rating scale guideline (i.e., description of what each rating is composed of)

Part 2

Explain why you selected the five competencies.

Describe how your selections contribute to effective employee performance management, training, and development programs.

Analyze how a human resource information system (HRIS) could be used to support an effective performance management training and development program.
