LITERATURE REVIEW
A literature review and how to conduct it is important part of your learnings in the MBA. Assignment 4 for this semester is focused on the literature review.
Below are some guidelines for you to refer to and Appendix A below also shows a few tips on conducting literature review. The first thing you should do is to craft a research question for which you will conduct a literature review (preferably a systematic literature review).
The following is a list of research questions that you could choose from to write your literature review (other research questions are welcome):
1. Effect of Using Supermarket App on Consumer's Buying Behaviour.
2. The impact of Covid 19 on eCommerce
3. The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on eCommerce
4. The impact of Digital Transformation on employment?
While you should use a suitable style for your references to appear in and at the end of the text, At least 20 unique references should be cited. The literature should cite studies in the last 5 years with focus on the recent studies for the current and the past year.
You should refer to Appendix A "The Literature review: A few tips on conducting it"
Literature review will be graded according to the rubrics in Appendix B.
Guidelines/Specifications for the Paper
1. Remember that the focus of a literature review is to summarize and synthesize the arguments and ideas of others without adding new contributions. However, your voice should remain front and center but be cautious when paraphrasing a source that is not your own.
2. Be sure to use a variety of reference sources (and a variety of types of sources). Articles from magazines and Web sites are acceptable but should not be considered as reliable as peer-reviewed journals or books. Quote where appropriate. Give citations for facts and quotations, indicating the sources for the material you are using. However, you should not just copy paragraphs from other sources. Explain the material as clearly as you can in your own words. It is important though that your sources are recent and current
3. There are hundreds or even thousands of articles and books on most areas of study. The narrower your topic, the easier it will be to limit the number of sources you need to read in order to get a good survey of the material. While you are not expected to read everything that's out there on the topic, you'll make your job easier if you first limit your scope.
4. Write a draft and then revise it to rewrite your work so that you have presented the information in the most concise manner possible including known terminology but not jargon.
At least 20 references.
