(i) By using Thevenin Theorem and mesh analysis, determine Thevenin voltage at terminal a-b.

(ii) By using Norton Theorem, Kirchhoff Current Law (KCL), parallel and series concepts, determine Norton current at terminal a-b.

(iii) Then, from answer in (i) and (ii), find Norton equivalent resistance.

Question 3

By using source transformations, simplify the circuit shown in Figure 3 to a simplified circuit with only ONE voltage source and ONE resistor. Then, find V0 if i = 2.5A.
