Assignment Title - Science Investigations Project for Children aged 5-8 years old
Task Description
The purpose is to use everyday technology to design a narrated animation to engage for use within a primary school context to discuss scientific concepts.
Two to three minute narrated Digital Animation plus a storyboard sheet and a one-page rationale.
Design and create a 2-3 minute Slowmation video as a teaching resource to explain one SMALL SCIENCE CONCEPT that complements your educational contexts (real or hypothetical). The following websites give detailed insight into the creation of slowmotion videos:
Include a brief storyboard (chunking sheet) as a plan and a written narration. Provide a one-page rationale to explain the design of your Slowmation including the relationship between the modalities you have used and the scientific concepts you wish to teach with links to the Australian Curriculum (Foundation -> Yr10).
The storyboard plan, written narration and one-page rationale should be submitted to Learnline. The Slowmation video is uploaded in MP4 format into the ShareStream media inbox.
