The eBike rental company has several locations. A location has a name, a phone number, and an address (city and street with number). Each eBike is located at a specific location.

An eBike has a serial number, a model number and a colour. The company keeps track of the kilometres a bike has travelled (the bikes have built-in counters) and when (meaning at which kilometre count and date) the last service occurred.

Customers rent bikes. The start date and time of the rental is recorded and also the return date and time (bikes can be rented for just an hour or several days). On return staff record the condition of the bike (all bikes go out clean and in good order; should they come in damaged or dirty they will be repaired/cleaned before they go out again). This helps staff to allocate bikes on new rentals (if a customer history shows that they always bring their bike back in good condition they are given the newer bikes).

The rental company keeps one central customer register (many of their customers rent from multiple locations). They store names (first, last), phone number and email address.
