Students of Dr. Psychic%u2019s training class wanted to see if they do learn the skills at the end of the class. Each student pick 12 M&M chocolate from the bag without seeing them, and guess what color they were. Each M&M chocolate pack includes 6 different colors. They recorded the number of their correct answers. Here is the data we had from the class: 1, 3, 1, 1, 4, 1, 1,1, 3, 1, 5, 3, 1, 2, 2, 4, 5, 3, 2, and 2 (n=20).

1) There are 6 different colors for each pack of M&M chocolate. What is the probability you will guess the right color?

2) Each person picks 12 M&M chocolates from the bag. What is the test value?

3) What kind of data analysis method would be appropriate for analyzing the data?

4) Was our performance better than just guessing? Using a two-tailed test with a=.05. Please write down the null and the alternative hypotheses in notation. Conduct data analysis and make the decision (do you think they did learn psychic skills?)

5) Do you need to report the effect size? if yes, what is the effect size?
