Stage 1: Case study
• demonstrate a systematic understanding of the theory and technical skills required to design and develop an e-Commerce system for a fictitious company selling movies and tv shows on blu ray (LO1)
o Introduction to case study
o What is dynamic development
o Role of websites in e-Commerce
o Why do you think this case needs a dynamic development for e-Commerce purpose and role of shopping cart in the case study?

Stage 2: Plan and design
• between four to seven web pages for the given company
• typical processes and contents of an e-commerce site
• provide recommendations with regards to a
o markup language,
o database,
o scripting (both client-side and server-side),
o multimedia components, and
o layout design
• Show a plan of working of website in the form of chart
• Show a flow chart of the processes
• Markup languages/client-side scripting - explain role of each in your website development: - HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap etc
• Database - explain the role of database MySQL
• Server-side scripting- explain role of PHP
• Layout design - Wireframe/sitemap/sketches/static pages for front end and ERD for back end.
• Multimedia components - like YouTube or any other if you are planning to use.

Stage 3: Implementation
• Explain the implementation of website using the terms XAMPP, PHP and MySQL
• Screen of connection code (with explanation)
• Screenshot of product page and code (with explanation especially PHP code and Database query)
• Screenshot of registration page (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)
• Screenshot of login page (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)
• Screenshot of shopping cart (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)
• Screenshot of adding products to shopping cart (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)
• Screenshot of removing products from shopping cart (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)
• Showing billing page with cash payment form or paypal or just a simple form to ask payment details (with explanation especially PHP and Database query)

Stage 4: Improvement of the functionality
• Recommend improvements including innovative approaches to the e-Commerce system
o ways of making the process faster, easier, and safer
Stage 5: Improvement of the design
• Explain how you can improve the design the main interface pages of your case study.
• Add Facebook, twitter, Instagram etc logo in each page and connect with websites. Show screenshot and explain
• Add YouTube video to show how people can watch latest products available on your website or advertisements and show screenshot and explain.
• Show images of products again and explain.
• Even they can show reviews pages for your websites (if any)
• Feedback pages and show screen shot and explain (if any).
• Call options and show screen shot and explain. (if any)
• Live chat options (show screenshot and explain). (if any)
• Leave message via text number (show screenshot and explain) (if any)
• Option to select languages to reach globally (show screenshot and explain) (if any)
