1: As we start to consider our Capstone DQ and how all of the processes interact remember that we are looking at overall success. I believe that design is a large and important part of the process but I've seen projects that go through the requirements phase and get shut down because of various reasons. Let's say that you focus on design and just bypass a thorough requirements phase. Once you start the design process it tends to be more costly than you anticipate and what's budgeted. Your customer tells you it's too expensive and refuses to implement and your project is deemed unsuccessful. Any thoughts?

2: Drawing upon your knowledge of software development, which process--requirements, design, coding, or testing--do you think has the greatest effect on the overall success and quality of development? Explain your answer.

3: Daryl and class, the part of software development that is the most important in having the greatest overall success is coding. This is the backbone of software development and without a complete understanding of the coding language that is being used development is not going to happen. Knowing the right resources can go a long way in performing any coding.
