For production planning purposes, you have been given a bill of materials for a Housing Assembly that is made up of a housing, four plastic grommets, and two control units. The housing is assembled from one control unit and two drive units. Each control unit has one bracket and one control board. Each drive unit has two bearings and one clutch. No inventory is on hand.

A) Draw the product structure noting the quantities for each item and the material level.

B) Determine the gross requirements needed of each item if (50) Housing Assemblies are to be assembled.

C) Calculate the net quantities needed if there are already (40) housings and (10) plastic grommets in stock.
