Case Study: Blood

Created by Lauren Moss Hunt - BIO 202 Honors, Spring 2011

Lily just started her residency at the Midwestern University Clinic and has been given the task to draw blood from four different patients who are getting their pre-employment physicals done. Three of them were very anxious to get their tests completed so that they could leave, causing them to give Lily a hard time and ultimately resulting in her skipping the labeling process for each sample she took. By the time she had finished all four patients, she had forgotten which blood belonged to which patient. They had all already left the building, so she could not get any new samples. The only things Lily was left with were each patient's background and medical history.
