Steam, having pressure 4.0 MPa and Temperature of 880 K enters the turbine installed in a power plant at the rate 500 kg/s. At the exit of the turbine, pressure is 8 kPA, quality of steam is 0.95. Draw a schematic of the turbine as a control volume, label all the mass interactions with the surroundings and calculate the net rate of flow work for this turbine. The turbine functions as a steady-state, steady-flow syste.
