A boat travleing at 20.0m/s goes undernetath a 7.50m high bridge. As it is directly underneath the bridge, a rock from the bridge lands in the boat. Assuming that the rock fell freely from rest, Describe the initial position of the boat right as the rock fell.

a) Draw a picture of the system with the rock and the boat. Label all important information on your picture.

b) Which equation can represent the motion of the boat? Which equation can represent the motion of the rock? Which variable must be the same for both objects in this system?

c) Solve for the position of the boat in the boat/rock system right when the rock begins to fall
