For many applications, it is useful to have a system that will generate a sinusoidal sequence. One possible way to do this is with a system whose impulse response is h[n] = ejω0nu[n]. The real and imaginary parts of h[n] are therefore hr[n] = (cos ω0n)u[n] and hi[n] = (sin ω0n)u[n], respectively. In implementing a system with a complex impulse response, the real and imaginary parts are distinguished as separate outputs. By first writing the complex difference equation required to produce the desired impulse response and then separating it into its real and imaginary parts, draw a flow graph that will implement this system. The flow graph that you draw should have only real coefficients. This implementation is sometimes called the coupled form oscillator, since, when the input is excited by an impulse, the outputs are sinusoidal.

Two metal plates with an area of 4 cm2 and separation distance of 0.01 cm are used to form a capacitance transducer. If the material between the two plates has a dielectric constant of 2.5 and the dielectric constant of free space is 8.85 pF/m

The desired signal at the output of the amplifier is 10 dBm, and the signal level applied to the fiber connector at the head end is 10 dBm. What should the gain of the amplifier be to have 10 dBm at the output of the neighborhood amplifier
For a particular IC-fabrication process, the transconductance parameter k'n = 50 µA/V2, and Vt = 1 V. In an application in which vGS = vDS =Vsupply = 7 V, a drain current of 0.8 mA is required of a device of minimum length of 2 µm.
A room has four doors and four light switches (one by each door). Sketch a circuit that allows the four switches to control the light - each switch should be able to turn the light on if it is currently off, and off if it is currently on.
Why is the input voltage into the diode in a full-wave rectifier not smooth but the input voltage into the diode in a half-wave rectifier smooth, graphically speaking
The phasor voltage Vab in the circuit is 480 /0° V (rms) when no external load is connected to terminals a,b. When a load having an impedance of 100 j0 Ω is connected across a,b, the value of Vab is 252.9822 /-18.3449° V (rms).
In a certain transformer, the input power to the primary is 120 W. If 8.5 W are lost to the winding resistance, what is the output power to the load, neglecting any other issues
