Information: Jimmy is a 54 year old male that has been using substances since he was a teenager and has reported an extensive history of legal involvement and has been in and out of jail for more than 30 years. He is currently out on parole and has been living in a halfway house with other men on parole. Jimmy has reported to you that since he has been out of jail for the last month, he has stopped using crystal meth but has continued to use alcohol and marijuana on the weekends. He presents in the contemplation stage of change and has struggled to make changes to his substance use and behaviors. Jimmy has also reported struggling to find sober support and employment.
