Organizational Development at Facebook: Incredible Culture or a Complete Corporate Cult?

A year ago, Mr. Zuckerberg announced that all Facebook employees are now referred to as metamates, to dovetail off the new corporate name of META. Many employees came forward and testified to Congress to detail the dysfunctional corporate culture. Facebook has taken it upon itself to decide what is appropriate and what is NOT. Some wanted them to do even more censorship to protect "society."

There is no question, that there is an abundance of sources on this topic. Once you have researched this topic, formulate a thesis statement, and then use resources to back this up. We are focused on the internal corporate culture then and now (a year in review), but a part can also be the perception of the impact negatively or positively of Facebook on society. There can be no doubt there has been a lasting impact. What was the immediate impact then and what is it now....a year later. What was the lasting impact for other companies such as Google and Apple, and their adoption of privacy standards.

This continues to be a topic of tremendous importance. Spend a lot of time researching, and as you do, you will start to formulate your own thesis.
