Doug enters Janes residence through an unlocked window that he lifts open at midnight, intending to steal her first edition copy of Sense & Sensibility, which he knows was recently appraised for $20,000.00 by a local book dealer. While stumbling around in the dark looking for the book, Jane surprises Doug and turns on a light. Doug startled pushes Jane backward and runs out of the front door. Unbeknown to Doug when Jane fell back, she hit her head on a metal stair rail, cracked her skull, and died. Doug is later arrested. He could likely be charged with:
