Doug and Matt are discussing their marriages. Doug says that having a little spat after dinnertime seems to enliven and energize his sex life with his wife that night. Matt is surprised by this and claims that any kind of friction between he and his wife completely kills her sex drive, and he can forget about even touching her that night! This anecdote about "Doug" versus "Matt" that illustrates how one's sexual response can reflect the quality of the relationship as a whole.
