Mission Statement for proposed Rise and Shine Cafe: We aim to be a place for all adults to enjoy more than just a cup of coffee. To provide a variety of snacks, wine, and a place to relax locally. We intend to grow and expand our business by going digital. We are dedicated to supporting the local community, especially to the students and faculty of Florida Gulf Coast University. Through our energetic and very well-prepared employees, we provide the best atmosphere locally.
Target Market: The consumers that we want to attract for the coffee house would be anyone over 18. Anyone between the ages of 18 - 20 would enjoy grabbing a coffee before heading to class or work. This age range would also enjoy socializing or studying with coffee and a nutritious snack. Looking at the age range of 21 - 35, it would be a suitable place for young professionals to socialize and enjoy happy hours with coworkers. The coffee offerings would provide a great alternative to standard meeting rooms during the day. A change in environment might lead to new innovations at the office. Focusing on the age range of 36-50, the coffee and wine bar would offer something for everyone. There would be something for all ages to enjoy, from vegetarians to carnivores, the menu would be diverse to accommodate different dietary restrictions and palates. We would have an outside area that provides a great spot for parents to bring children or relax on a night out. Singles might find the relaxing atmosphere a great place to get to know someone better. Lastly, anyone over the age of 50 years old. The median age range of Estero residents is 64.2 years old (Data USA, 2021). During the day you might find this age group catching up with friends over coffee or enjoying a snack post tennis/golf game.
