I. How and why the problem statement and conceptual or theoretical framework are important in aplied research (use Module 3 course readings and homepage to guide your discussion).
II. Next select ONE article from the list below.
1. Locate and summarize the problem statement.
2. Locate and summarize the conceptual or theoretical framework.

III. Evaluate the problem statement and purpose statement using the following questions as a guide:
1. Is the purpose statement clear and concise? Is it directly linked to the problem statement?

4. Does the purpose statement mention a theory?
