Question: Medical cost about deseases such as CF is a real issue and concern for families without proper insurance coverage and high co-paid cost. I feel the mother's concern about lasting complications of this desease for 18 years. I think that those infants enrolled should be monitored on more than one year study, to check how the deases develops during the years and if there are improvements over time. Since, the deseasse is inherented could the parent and infants both be included in the study? Does the CF goes through a mutacion or does this desease weakens? Lastly, this rare category of genetic desease, must be treated free of charge and compensatin. This should be mandatory if there complications which arise due to the procedures, as the mother emphasis to the change of the 46.407 approval.
