Sherry is a 47 yo female. She was standing at the bus stop one rainy day. When the bus pulled up to her stop, she stepped off the curb, slipped, and fell backwards onto her shoulder directly smacking the posterior aspect of her humeral head on the concrete. In the emergency department, no fracture was noted. However, the radiologist saw she dislocated her shoulder anteriorly. The dislocation was reduced with traction, massage, and muscle relaxants.
