I. Researchers are doing surveys asking individuals if they have been victims of a property crime during the last year. The organizers of the study find out that some of their surveyors have been filling out the surveys to avoid having to do their jobs.

II. Another group of researchers is doing a study where they must measure how much people fear crime. They decide to measure fear of crime based on whether or not individuals have home security systems and car security systems.
