Does the real estate broker get their commision if the seller found a buyer instead of the other way around? example: John (seller) found a buyer Sarah that will pay 100k for a house and agreed to sell it to her but the estate agent also find a buyer who would pay $5000 more. Since the seller is selling the home to Sarah and not the other person. Does he still pay real estate the full commission?
