The method:

Randomly selected groups of two (a and b) of the class and all the participants were asked to sit on a 90-degree angle against the wall with no support

Group a was asked to do their best for the first time while group b is timing them (they didn't know they were being timed) then they were told that the timing was not correct and they had to do it again

Group b were asked to do their best for the first time and then they were asked to sit a goal of 45 seconds more than the first trail.
Time was registered in minutes

The data analysis should count the (improvement time in seconds) if it was minus it count as zero I couldn't do that in excel it doesn't let me make it in seconds

Research question: does a goal setting make group b do better than group a or worse?

Report format:

This will involve use of the data collected in the laboratory and in addition, the student shall present an extended introduction to the topic using materials from other resources. Further, an extensive discussion section will be required, relating the findings of the study to previous published work in the area.
