Billy Ray Williams, an African American male in his 60s, drives a 1983 black Trans Am with t-tops. He is driving home from Lake Powell after day of hanging out on his buddy's boat. He may have had a few alcoholic beverages during the day. A police officer pulls Billy Ray over on I-17 southbound at Bell Rd. Billy Ray was traveling 87mph in a 65mph zone. Before the officer gets out of his car there is a report over the radio about an armed robbery at Metro Center by a light skinned male in his 20s or 30s. The car seen leaving the scene was a 1980s black Firebird with t-tops.

The officer asks Billy Ray to step out of the vehicle and then begins to search Billy Ray's car without a warrant. In the glove box the officer finds a small bag of cocaine and in the trunk they find signs advocating for the end of the war in Xamunda calling the government there genocidal. This political stance is very controversial. There was even an itinerary for the President of Xamunda in Billy Ray's car and there is a belief Billy Ray may have been planning an assassination attempt.

Billy Ray is arrested and processed. He was never read his Miranda Rights. The arresting officer questioned Billy Ray for almost 3 hours. His picture is published on the internet. His boss sees his picture on the Web and is very offended by Billy Ray's political stance and fires him.

Billy Ray's lawyer argues that all the evidence obtained in Billy Ray's car is inadmissible.

Billy Ray has civil issues and criminal issues.
