Does a 35oC significantly increase the growth rate of using yeast?
Rational - S.cerevisiae is a single celled eukaryote that used to make bread that is commonly seen around (Pamela K, 2018). It's a very long name for this small organism, and this yeast species is very strong, fermentable, and the process of raising bread dough (Pamela K, 2018). Temperatures below the optimal range for growth slow down enzyme kinetics and, as a result, cellular processes (Charles Boone, 2007). However, when the S.cerevisiae reaches 35°C, it continues to grow (Charles Boone, 2007). S.cerevisiae respiration rate goes up to 40 degrees Celsius at its best (J.White, 1951).This means that the S.cerevisiae increases steadily up 35°C, but drops steeply after increasing from 40 degrees (J.White, 1951). The S.cerevisiae yield calculated from the total sugar used decrease, especially at temperatures above 35 degree, as the growth temperature increases (J.White, 1951).

Research question - Does a temperature of 35oC significantly increase the respiration rate of Saccharomyces cerevisiae compared to a temperature of 40oC.
Processed data - For the analysis of this experiment the following data processing occurred:
The mean was chosen to calculate the average of the height of gas reaction rate.
The standard deviation was calculated for each different average of gas reaction rate and used to calculate standard error.
The standard error was used with standard deviation to evaluate effectiveness of the experiment.
